On today’s episode, Know Your Role(s) brings you One More Round with George and Dave as George plans his return to the cinema and Dave ponders the complexities of the phrase “bi-weekly” (spoiler alert!). On tap in this week’s Bar Talk are Edgar Wright’s “Last Night in Soho” trailer, bizarre sports injuries, and TV teasers, as the fellas channel shows like “Top Chef,” “Shrill” season three, and “Run the World” on STARZ. This week’s game takes us into the ring and astride the salad spinner as the gang compares pro-wrestlers to vegetables, from Hulk “Broccoli” Hogan to Ronda “Ramps” Rousey, all off the top rope! Dave looks forward to Netflix’s new series “High on the Hog,” and George gets excited about the NBA Playoffs and the “Mare of Easttown” finale. Producer Mary Bess celebrates the Louvre's first female leader in 228 years and acknowledges the passing of celebrated author Eric Carle. The Know Your Role(s) team encourages listeners to support children’s literacy charities and authors like beloved writer and illustrator Deborah Freedman, whose newest book “Is Was” is available now. Things are changing at Know Your Role(s), so keep an eye on the @kyrpod socials for updates, announcements, and bonus content!
