On today’s episode, Know Your Role(s) welcomes comedian, writer, composer, & producer Lukas Kaiser to the pod! Topics on tap in today’s Bar Talk include Chicago Bulls player and MVP candidate DeMar DeRozan’s impressive run, getting excited for Showtime’s “Super Pumped,” and a new surprise topic, Bartender’s Choice, courtesy of Dave! Lukas takes the fellas on a journey from the Milwaukee theatre scene to NYU to West Philadelphia, where he was not born and raised, and treats listeners to behind the scenes stories from his time with “Chapelle’s Show.” The experienced producer and Will Smith collaborator also gives insights into his new projects, “Bel-Air” on Peacock and “This Joka” on the Roku Channel. In this week’s game, Luka, George, and Dave “make [comparison games] look gooood” as they compare Will Smith roles to soups from Captain Steven Hiller’s ramen to the Fresh Prince’s gazpacho to Mike Lowrey’s chicken noodle soup. In today’s Last Call, Dave gets excited for the A24 film “Everything Everywhere All at Once” and the new Father John Misty record “Chloe and the Next 20th Century,” and George gets pumped for pro-wrestling PPV and the season premier of “Winning Time” on HBO March 6th.
